Abstract
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method was employed to conduct environmental impact evaluations for Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2023. Following the outlines and requirements of the ISO 14044 Environmental Management - Life Cycle Assessment - Requirements and Guidelines standard, SimaPro v 9.0.0.48 (PRé Sustainability, Amersfoort, Netherlands) software was utilized. Within SimaPro, the 'EF Method (adapted)' was applied for data analysis. It was determined that the major cause of the environmental impacts from the energy consumption of hospital activities in 2023 was primarily due to electricity consumption.
