MAS Journal of Applied Sciences charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for manuscripts submitted to the journal.

In accordance with the decision of the IKSAD Institute Editorial Board, numbered 17/2025/5/5 and dated 24/12/2025, the Article Processing Charge of MAS Journal of Applied Sciences is applied as 10,000 TRY for submissions from Türkiye and 500 USD for submissions from countries outside Türkiye, effective as of 01/01/2026. Changes to the Article Processing Charge are made once a year and are announced clearly on the journal website.

MAS Journal of Applied Sciences is committed to transparency regarding article processing charges (APC). Applicants from low- and middle-income countries or independent researchers may request a fee waiver or discount by submitting a written request to the editorial board at the time of submission. Waiver decisions are made independently of the editorial decision, based solely on financial criteria.

No separate submission fee, page charge, colour charge, language editing fee, withdrawal fee, reader fee, or subscription fee is charged, except for the stated APC.

Fee payment, discount, or waiver status does not influence editorial evaluation, peer review, acceptance, rejection, or publication decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and peer-review reports.

Any discount or waiver is administered by the publisher’s administrative office and is independent of editorial decision-making. Editors, section editors, editorial board members, or journal staff who submit manuscripts to the journal are strictly excluded from all editorial and peer-review processes concerning their own submissions. Such manuscripts are handled by an independent editor and evaluated by independent reviewers.

If a discount is granted to section editors or editorial contributors, it applies only to the eligible author’s own share of the APC in multi-author manuscripts and does not apply to the shares of other authors. Discount eligibility, payment processing, and financial records are handled separately from the editorial office.

MAS Journal of Applied Sciences does not charge readers for access to published articles. All published articles are freely available online under the journal’s open-access policy.
